26 x 14" / Fused Glass and Metal / Pop'n Poppies is a red glass & wire sculpture of a cluster of poppy blossoms. The organic placement of the poppies creates a whimsical and pleasant movement within this design. The individual poppies were hand cut, sanded, kiln fired, then fired into a slump to achieve the various stages of the life cycles of the poppies. A cold fusion technique was applied to the hand manipulated wire to create this Pop'n Poppies sculpture.
