"A Pick of Pickled Peppers" is the artist's interpretation of colorful fused glass peppers adorning a metal lantern. Multiple fusings were needed to create this piece. Different sizes, shapes, and colored glass pieces were incorporated into each pepper, then diaroic glass was added for highlights. Once the peppers were created, they were placed on a panel of glass and surrounded by muted crushed glass to accent the peppers, and fired again, creating a delightful viewer experience.
