19 x 16" / Mixed Media / The work contains Pyro-etched taskboard 'tiles' colored with a variety of transparent inks and graphite. Strips are mounted on a black chalkboard. The narrow 'mosaic' pieces echo lines of hieroglyphs, calligraphy and familiar natural shapes. I invite viewers to come closer, take time to let familiar, repeating forms spur memories and the delight of recognition.
