White Canyon meets Armstrong beneath this immense stone bridge. Tourists in Natural Bridges National Monument tend to come and go after having taken a look, but I prefer to spend a couple of hours in a place like this. After lunch, I pull out my baroque recorder and play some tunes. Some, like 'Greensleeves' and 'A Love Supreme' are familiar, but others are just momentary improvisations. I've never once had anybody complain about the flute-like tones floating through the canyons. / 18 x 24" / Oil
