I first noticed and photographed this tree about 30 years ago. It looked exactly the same. It hangs by visible roots right on the edge of Bryce Canyon close to the Sunrise Viewpoint. There are many old timers growing on the hiking trails at Bryce. My reverence for them is as deep as for the red hoodoos.
