Susan Tousley

As an artist, Susan's story is deeply rooted in her family heritage. Growing up, her mother was a constant source of inspiration and instilled in her a love for the creative process.  She was the most influential person in Susan's life.  With a long line of artists in her family, it is clear that art runs in Susan's blood.

Susan's contemporary style is a reflection of her need for self-expression and introspection. She works primarily with acrylic paints, layering vibrant colors to bring her ideas to life.  Her approach often involves finding objects or subjects within the paint that she can build on. Each layer adds depth and meaning to the piece, taking it in new and unexpected directions. She is constantly exploring the limitless possibilities of color and form, always striving to create something truly unique and meaningful. She finds the process of painting to be therapeutic.  It's meditative, allowing her to lose herself in the moment.

Private collectors of Susan's work can be found throughout the United States.  She has also enjoyed  illustrating a children's book that is now published.
