36 x 36" / Encaustic / Peacock Park is a park in Coconut Grove, Florida where I grew up. In my youth Coconut Grove was filled with artists, hippies, sailors, musicians (CSN&Y, Eric Clapton, etc.). This is where I played after school and where I learned to sail. The Church there is where my father's funeral was held. There is a glimpse of a cathedral in the top left hand corner of the work.
