20 x 20" / Photography on MetalThis image was taken in New Mexico, at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, where thousands of snow geese winter over every year. They spend nights in shallow ponds or lakes to be safe from predators, and during the day they spend their days eating in the nearby corn fields along with sandhill cranes.
