Early October morning and hints of winter is in the air. Just off of I-70 is a small mining and railroad town called Minturn. The Eagle River runs through the town. Up above the town, along US 24, is a turn off that I look. Looking back, I saw these moody mists hanging along the river and wedged between the steep, rocky cliffs and just had to capture it in a painting. this is quintessential Colorado.
