48 x 48 x 8" / copperWe created this piece to honor the small Northern Flicker woodpeckers of North America. By slowly hand-hammering and dyeing industrial copper, we abstracted the symbol of the feather and transformed them into the petals of a flower. This unification of animal and plant life examines our relationship to the natural world.
