Fall is not simply the season for stunning colors. It is also the season when life starts to slow down. The “full steam ahead into activity†of the summer falls increasingly dormant, and gets replaced by a more contemplative, in many ways more conscious way of life. We start paying attention to the little things, the smells, the colors, the change. Fall is the season for taking a breath, in my eyes, for breathing a sigh of relief that this is our time, a slower time, sandwiched in between all of summer’s adventures and the rush of holiday adrenaline.
