A Gift for Bolivia
33 x 41" / Acrylic on paper - traditional framing /
"A Gift for Bolivia" is inspired by the Flatirons Film Festival movie "A Taste of Sky." It is about a Danish man who created a very successful restaurant in Copenhagen and decided to share his knowledge with Bolivia. Bolivia being an under-developed country with poor education, little development and poverty but many untapped resources. He took some young people under his wing, trained them in culinary skills using indigenous foods to create first class foods.
They opened a restaurant that is one of the best in South America which is thriving. The young people who learned these skills have had their lives changed forever.
