8.5 x 6.5" / Watercolor and penWinter comes early to the aspen groves of Rocky Mountain National Park. By mid-November, the sun is casting haunting shadows within the forest by early afternoon. Aspen bark seems to shift from grey to green to red before your eyes, depending on the play of the shadows cast by the low sun.
