The Lost Mine Trailhead was a short distance from my campsite in the Chisos Basin area of the park. To get to the location in the early morning, it required an early hours dark start. Within two hours I reached my desired location at the top of the trail. I loved this perspective of my shooting location, capturing the beauty of the site and emphasizing the awesome landscape that Big Bend offers.
