Ohio: Cuyahoga Valley National Park

The rural landscapes of Ohio’s open spaces in Cuyahoga Valley National Park between Cleveland and Akron boast 125 miles of hiking and snowshoeing trails through forests and open farmlands. Visitors can also go cross-country skiing and sledding among the rolling hills, and ice fishing on the winding Cuyahoga River. A favorite activity is cycling or walking the historic Towpath Trail along the Ohio & Erie Canal.
