California: Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park in California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains was the first federally protected park (1864) which paved the way for the National Park System. It is home to Half Dome, a climbers mecca, along with 3,000-year-old giant Sequoia trees, famous waterfalls, and a vast wilderness of nearly 760,000 acres. 

Yosemite’s artwork includes classic images of Half Dome and Bridalveil Falls, along with beautiful sunrise and sunset images of the valley.
